EPC, as easy as 123...

We all know that the environment, climate change, global warming or carbon footprints are big news these days. You can't switch on a television, read a newspaper or often have a conversation without the subject cropping up. Most of us have probably calculated our own personal carbon footprint and if you haven't you can with the WWF or the Carbon Trust calculators. But have you ever looked into the carbon footprint of your house?
Following a successful trial, we have now launched our Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) product which allows homeowners to find out how energy efficient their property really is.
The EPC assessment is carried out by a qualified Energy Assessor and will identify the official energy rating of a property, as well as point to potential energy savings that can be made. Although most commonly needed when moving house, an EPC is now a legal requirement before you can even advertise your home for sale or to let. Many people are now choosing to carry out an energy assessment to find out the carbon footprint of their current home and what steps they can take to reduce it.
