Standby power part 2

A few years ago I had a crackdown on standby power in my home. With three children, two of whom are teenagers - and all their gadgets – standby usage was growing and approaching 200W of continuous power use.

My post on Atlantic’s 'green travel' schemes appears to have caught the interest of many of you! One response which was particularly interesting came from commenter “Tokyito” who requested some further information about the environmental benefits of discouraging business flights in favour of alternative modes of transport.
